Ways to Give
There are several types of gifts that can be made to Heritage of Faith ~ Vision of Hope.Gifts of Cash
Most gifts to Heritage of Faith ~ Vision of Hope are cash contributions, allowing donors to receive full tax benefits if they itemize deductions.
Pledges
Commitments made to the campaign as pledges can be paid over a period of three to five years.
Gifts of Securities
A gift of appreciated securities, either publicly traded or from a private company, may provide greater tax advantages than gifts of cash. The donor can deduct the current fair-market value as a charitable gift. Please consult your tax advisor for specific information.
Gifts In-Kind
Heritage of Faith ~ Vision of Hope will gratefully accept a range of non-monetary gifts, commonly referred to as gifts in-kind. Examples of gifts in-kind include real estate, artwork, special equipment and other tangible personal property.
Matching Gifts
Your contribution to Heritage of Faith ~ Vision of Hope through your parish may be doubled or tripled, if your company has a matching gift program. Check with your employer to see if they will match a charitable contribution, and request a matching gift form from them. Complete the pledge card and matching gift form and send it, along with your gift, to your parish rectory. Your parish will receive credit for both your gift and your employer’s match. You may need the following information to complete the form:

Planned Giving
Planned Giving is a set of ways a donor can leave money or assets to the Church at his or her death, or a way to invest money so that the donor receives benefits during his or her life and then bequeaths the remaining funds to the Church. Planned Giving can be adapted to each donor’s needs. Please consult your tax advisor for specific information.
