$100 Million Pledged in One Year!
Heritage of Faith ~ Vision of Hope has secured pledges and gifts of over $100 million in the 12 months since the campaign was publicly announced!As the parish reports progressed through the evening at the Track 4 Kick Off dinner on February 23, the campaign exceeded the $140 million benchmark. The effort has received commitments of $142,172,835 as of Friday, February 26.
Cardinal Justin Rigali took the opportunity during the dinner to express his gratitude, and commented on the spiritual renewal triggered by the campaign. “There is another dimension that sustains us – not only are we achieving a goal, we are acting as the Church,” he said. “This is what the Church does – everyone shares the mission and contributes so wonderfully, working together in the name of our Lord.”
Now at 70% of the $200 million overall goal, the campaign is on track to reach the $150 million milestone by Easter.
